You Belong to Yourself Meditation

You are not theirs anymore.​

You never truly were.

This meditation is a gentle return — to your body, your voice, your life.

When systems or communities tried to define you, label you, claim you… something inside you still remained untouched. Still yours.

This is your permission to reconnect with that part.

You don’t need to earn your belonging.
You don’t need approval to exist.
You already belong — here, now, within yourself.

 

Let this meditation be a quiet reclamation. A reminder of what’s always been yours.

Reflection Prompts

After listening, take your time with these:

  • Where in my life have I felt like I didn’t belong — even to myself?

  • What identities or roles was I given that never truly fit me?

  • What does it mean to belong to myself?

  • What choices would I make if I truly trusted that I didn’t need permission?

  • Where do I feel most like myself — and how can I return there more often?

You don’t have to become someone else to be worthy. You’re already home.
