Guided Meditation

Bringing Yourself Back Into Balance

A guided journey through your seven energy centres, gently tuning in and restoring a sense of balance.

When life feels off-centre, it’s often because one part of us is quietly calling for attention. Sometimes that’s emotional, sometimes physical, sometimes something harder to name.

This guided chakra meditation moves gently through each of the seven main energy centres of the body, helping you tune in, listen, and restore a little balance. With grounding visualisation and simple affirmations, it helps you come back to yourself, out of survival mode and into something more like ease.

You don’t need to know anything about energy work to feel the benefit. Whether this is new to you or simply a reset you’re overdue, all it asks is that you pause, breathe, and bring your whole self back online.

When you’re ready, settle somewhere comfortable and press play. Coming back to balance doesn’t ask for perfection. It just begins with being here.

One gentle note: meditation works best as a regular practice, not a one-off. A few minutes most days will do far more than an occasional longer session, so if it helps, let this become a small part of your daily rhythm.

What You’ll Experience

Tune in, and bring yourself back to balance.

When we’re stretched thin, we often push through without noticing which part of us is struggling. This meditation slows you down enough to check in with your whole self, gently easing you out of survival mode and back towards a steadier, clearer state.

Tune Into Yourself

Move through each energy centre and notice what’s asking for attention.

Restore Your Balance

Gently settle the parts of you that feel off-centre.

Leave Survival Mode

Ease out of tension and back towards calm and clarity.

Feel Whole Again

Bring your whole self back online, present and steady.

Gentle Reflection

After listening, you might like to sit with these questions.

No need to answer them all. Pick the one that lands, and be gentle with yourself.

1. Which part of me has been quietly asking for attention lately?

2. Where in my body do I notice tension, and what might it be telling me?

3. What would help me feel more balanced and settled right now?

When this meditation may help

Come back whenever you feel off-centre and want to reset.

Balance isn’t a fixed state we reach once. It’s something we drift out of and gently return to. This meditation is here for those times you feel scattered and want to bring yourself back to centre.

When you feel off-centre

Something feels out of sorts and you can’t quite name what.

When you’re in survival mode

You’ve been pushing through and you need to come back to ease.

As a full reset

You’d like to check in with your whole self and settle.

New to energy work

You’re curious and would like a gentle, undemanding way in.

Sometimes a meditation isn’t the end of the conversation.

Sometimes it’s the start of one. If today’s meditation has left you feeling more open or curious, you might enjoy Book Quote Therapy, my literary companion site where books, poems, quotations and Literary Prescriptions are gathered for different seasons of life.

For this meditation, I’d point you towards these Literary Prescriptions:

Overwhelm : for when everything feels a bit too much at once.

Rest : for the reset your whole self is asking for.

Stillness : for finding your way back to centre.

All gentle reminders that coming back to balance begins with presence, not perfection.
